Lois Fordham BA FAICD
Lois has over 20 years experience in executive management and board membership across private, public, university, and not-for-profit sectors.
She has been a member of 17 boards including the roles of Chairperson, Non-Executive Director, and Company Secretary, and participation on Finance, Risk, Remuneration, and Performance Subcommittees. Lois has held appointments as National CEO of one of Australia’s leading commercial law firms, Executive Director and CFO at the Australian Sports Commission, and CEO of one of the largest independent law firms in Queensland. She has also been an executive manager and company secretary of a joint venture start-up company she set up to operate a Cooperative Research Centre in leading-edge IT university research. Her career also extends to the health sector, as a senior business manager of a major hospital, and to the arts sector, as director of a foundation to promote private sector support for the arts.
Lois has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, is a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. She is a Graduate of the Institute of Coaching and Consulting Psychology (Executive Coaching), a member of the International Coach Federation, and has certification in the use of the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI).
Barry Fordham PhD MBA GAICD
Barry has over 15 years experience in the private, public, and university sectors as a senior manager in applied research and technology organisations, with substantial involvement at the board, committee, and executive levels.
He has held positions as COO of a major university research centre, Group Leader in sustainability research at CSIRO, Project Facilitator for a highly innovative Earth science consultancy, and Manager of a statewide broadband digital community network.
Barry is well versed in the challenges of achieving high performance in dynamic and complex multiproject environments, and has a strong interest and background in guiding interdisciplinary teams and programs to apply cutting-edge approaches to contemporary issues.
He has a PhD in Earth science, an MBA with a special focus on knowledge management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
